Darryl Hudson, Ph.D.

Dr. Darryl Hudson holds a PhD in Molecular Biology & Genetics and has published research in diverse fields including plant biology, genetics, epigenetics, and carcinogenesis.  He transitioned full-time into the Cannabis industry in 2013 and has helped secure licenses for many emerging players in the commercial Cannabis sector.  With expertise in genetic selection, cultivation and quality assurance protocols, he continues to help producers in the Cannabis industry achieve the highest quality results.  In addition to participating in a recently published Cannabis genome sequencing project, Dr. Hudson operates an advanced research laboratory in Canada (InPlanta Biotechnology) and has been breeding specialized new varieties of Cannabis for the medical and agricultural market.
